The ceremony will be taking place at the Wedding Dais which is a 500m walk along a boardwalk from the Discovery Centre. The reception will take place following the ceremony on the Deck Cafe.

Located at 60 Mount Nebo Road, Enoggera Reservoir, Walkabout Creek Discovery Centre is 12km from Brisbane’s city centre.
By Car
Follow Waterworks Road from the city. Waterworks Road becomes Mount Nebo Road not far from the entrance to the Walkabout Creek Discovery Centre. There is plenty of on site parking available.
Public Transport
If you need to public transport to the event you can take the 385 bus to The Gap park ‘n’ ride. From here it is a 500m walk along purpose built tracks to the Discovery Centre.
10:00 am – Guest start to arrive, please leave enough time for parking and walking to the wedding dias.
10:30 am – Ceremony begins. During the ceremony we please ask that you turn your phone off. There will be a professional photographer covering the event so no need to take photos on your phone, just enjoy the moment.
11:00 am – Ceremony ends. Group and family photos to be taken.
11:30 am – Morning Tea served at the Deck Cafe.
1:30pm – Event concludes and guests depart.
There is no set dress code, wear what you would like! As a guide, smart casual is what you can aim for but you can rock up in anything from flip flops to a top hat. The wedding is taking place in winter and will be majority outside but undercover with sturdy ground such as boardwalks.
We invite you to be fully present during our ceremony so no phones or cameras are permitted during the ceremony. However, we are more than happy for you to take photos after the ceremony and share them.

We want everyone to be able to enjoy the reception so please let us know if you have any dietary constraints ahead of time.
Food will consist of morning tea platters with:
- Lemonade scones with jam & cream,
- Petite ham & cheese croissants,
- Fresh seasonal fruit
- Pumpkin arancini w napoli sauce (VG GF)
- Mini spring rolls w sweet chili sauce (V)
- Salt & pepper squid w chilli sauce (DF)
- Freshly brewed coffee and a selection of herbal & black teas
